NON-INTERVENTION IN SPAIN
REPLIES FROM BOTH SIDES SUB-COMMITTEE TO MEET (British Official Wireless) (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) RUGBY, Dec. 6. Replies from both sides in the Spanish dispute qualifying acceptance of the request for their concurrence in the Non-intervention Committee's resolution providing for the execution of the British plan come to-morrow before the chairman's sub-committee. The meeting will also consider the recommendations of the technical sub-commit-tees which have been drafting detailed schemes in connection with the plan for restoration and strengthening of control round Spain, for the withdrawal of volunteers and for granting belligerent rights. BRITISH COMPANIES INTERFERENCE WITH ASSETS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Dec. 6. Questioned in the House of Commons, Mr Anthony Eden said there had been a very large number of cases of interference with the assets of British companies in Spam. In addition to representations made to the Spanish authorities in specific terms, protests in general terms against the Catalan collectivisation decree had been made several times, but so far there had been no satisfactory settlement.
