DEATH OF SCIENTIST
FUNERAL OF LORD RUTHERFORD (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Oct. 23. (Received Oct. 24, at 6.30 p.m.) The Secretary for Air (Viscount Swinton) will attend the funeral of Lord Rutherford in Westminster Abbey on Monday. BRITAIN’S SYMPATHY LOSS TO WORLD OF SCIENCE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 23. Britain’s sympathy with New Zealand in the loss the whole scientific world has suffered by the death ot Lord Rutherford, conveyed m a telegram from the Secretary of State for Dominion Affairs, has been received by the Governor-General (Viscount Galway).
