VICTIM UNABLE TO IDENTIFY ASSAILANT NEW YORK, Oct. 22. Matt Cobb, aged 67, victim of the robbery, whose forehead is scarred and who is also deaf, owing to being blackjacked, gave evidence that he was unable to identify Montague as an assailant.
A message received on September 10 stated: The golfer John Montague was arraigned and pleaded not guilty. Montague declared that he did not know Roger Norton, who has already served 30 months’ imprisonment for his share of the hold-up with which Montague is charged.
