He did not consider the time had yet come for him to delegate his powers to the general officer commanding. VICTIM OF SHOOTING SUCCUMBS TO INJURIES JERUSALEM, Oct. 24. (Received Oct. 24, at 7.30 p.m.) Avinoam Yellin has succumbed. A reward of £IOOO is offered foi information leading to the apprehension of his assailant. Avinoam Yellin, senior inspector of Jewish schools at Jerusalem, was shot on his office doorstep during an outbreak of lawlessness.
