WAGES OF APPRENTICES THE DISPUTE IN BRITAIN (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Sept. 15. (Received Sept. 16, at 5.5 p.m.) The dispute in the engineering trades regarding the wages of apprentices and recognition of their union, which caused a strike in Glasgow in the spring, has not been settled satisfactorily in subsequent negotiations, and a number of small strikes of aoprentices are reported from Manchester and other districts.
