UNITED KINGDOM RETURNS FIGURES FOR EIGHT MONTHS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Sept. 15. The pig iron output, at 712,600 tons, and crude steel production, at 987,700 tons, in August, compared with 635,800 and 872,700 tons respectively in the same month last year.
