DOMESTIC EXPORTS
UNITED KINGDOM RETURNS FIGURES FOR EIGHT MONTHS (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, Sept. 15. (Received Sept. 16, at 5.5 p.m.l The United Kingdom exports to British countries in the first eight months of this year were valued at £ 162,300,000, out of a total of domestic exports of £341,400,000, compared with £138,700,000 out of £283,200,000 in the corresponding period of 1936. The pig iron output, at 712,600 tons, and crude steel production, at 987,700 tons, in August, compared with 635,800 and 872,700 tons respectively in the same month last year.
