IMPERIAL CONFERENCE

NEW ZEALAND DELEGATION GOVERNMENT KEPT INFORMED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 31 The Acting Prime Minister (Mr P. Fraser) to-day stated that the Government was being kept fully informed of the part being played by the New Zealand delegation at the Imperial Conference. Mr Fraser added that from advice received during the week-end it was apparent that the work of the Prime Minister and Mr Nash during the past week had been particularly heavy, and they were without the services of Mr Jordan and Mr Armstrong, who were in Geneva. As leader of the Dominion delegation Mr Savage was fully occupied with the study of statements on foreign affairs and defence. The Dominion representatives were also on the committee which was considering constitutional questions. Mr Savage had submitted a statement to the conference on foreign affairs and defence, and Mr Nash had outlined the trade policy of the New Zealand Government. In addition to an inspection of Imperial Airways machines at Rochester, Mr Savage and Mr Nash each attended nine conference meetings last week.
