INTOXICATED DRIVER
OAMARU MOTORIST CHARGED HEAD-ON COLLISION WITH TAXI (Peb United Press Association) TIMARU, May 31. Pleading guilty in the Police Court to a charge of being intoxicated while in charge of a car, Albert Russell Perry Wederell, aged 18. of Oamaru, was fined £lO and prohibited from holding a driver’s licence for two years. The accused collided head on with a stationary taxi in the early hours of Sunday morning.
