INFLUENZA EPIDEMIC
MORTALITY IN BRITAIN GENEVA. Feb. 16. Britain, with 4,000,000 cases around the New Year and a mortality of 19.5 per 1000 suffered tfre worst in the influenza epidemic, according to the League’s health statistics. German towns were severely hit, but not so badly as in the 1918-19 epidemic. The rest of Europe was relatively mild.
