ro THE EDITOR Sir,—All your readers know how scarce and dear fish is in Dunedin, and this has recently received a considerable amount of publicity. Yet in the face of this a deputation of fishermen, with Mr R. E. Hayward as spokesman, waited on a Cabinet Minister some little time ago and suggested a prohibitive licence fee on the casual supplier of fish. We have not heard what success this met with.—l am, etc., A.
