VOLUNTARY EUTHANASIA
PRACTISED IN BRITAIN A DOCTOR’S DECLARATION LONDON, Nov. 20. (Received Nov. 21, at 1.45 a.m.) “There is no doubt that euthanasia is practised by medical men in Britain, and I see no reason to think that it is done in a proper and honourable way,” declared Dr Roche Lynch, the Home Office analyst, during the discussion on voluntary enthanasia at a meeting of the Hunterian Society. Referring to Lord Ponsonby’s Bill, he said it would defeat its object by its elaborate requirements, adding, was it not better to leave undisturbed a practice which had "been carried on from time immemorial?
