AMATEUR SWIMMING
WELLINGTON CENTRE'S VIEW IMPROVED MANAGEMENT DESIRABLE (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct. 6. No action is to be taken by the Wellington Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Swimming Association in the direction of changing the headquarters from Christchurch. This was unanimously decided at a meeting of delegates to-night. The proposal was advocated in a letter from the Otago Centre. A resolution was passed, however, drawing the attention of the council to the fact that an improvement in the general management would be of greater advantage to the sport.
