SYDNEY WOOL SALES SYDNEY, Oct. 6. (Received Oct. 6, at 11.45 p.m.) At the wool sales 11,933 bales were offered and 10,461 sold, while 1227 were disposed of privately. There was a very firm market, with all the best features of last week's auctions again in evidence. There was strong support from Yorkshire and increased Continental competition. Greasy merino made 21fd. The average price of wool last week in Sydney was £l7 4s lid a bale, or 13.1 d per lb.
