TAXI-DRIVERS AND FIRST AID

They have a new way in "Moscow now of dealing with street accidents. Upder a new law of the City Soviet all drivers of buses, taxicabs and tranicars in Moscow will he required to give first aid treatment to their own victims. Special courses in first aid are now obligatory, together with the driving tests for licences, for all drivers of public vehicles. The Soviet has decided also to create an extensive system of first aid centres for victims of traffic mishaps. The new stations will be opened in 10 of the city’s largest public squares. Sixteen ambulances and several motor trucks will he used in caring for persons hurt in the streets.
