JAPANESE REBELS
TRIAL BY SPECIAL TRIBUNAL WAR MINISTER TO PRESIDE (United Press Association) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright) TOKTO, March 4. The War Minister (General Kawashima) will preside at a special tribunal to try the mutineers. Five young officers are still at large. A communique states that more than 1400 officers and men participated in the incidents. Second Lieutenant Mata Yamoto, who participated in the revolt, has surrendered to the authorities. Prince Konoye, president of the House of Peers and a member of the Right parties, was appointed Prime Minister, but he pleaded the Emperor's permission to decline on the grounds of ill-health. He was summoned for a further consultation with the Emperor. THE NEW PREMIER TOKIO, March 4. (Received March 0, at 0.30 a.m.) Mr Hirota has accepted the Premiership.
