BRIGHTON DOMAIN BOARD
Mr James Allan presided over a meeting of members of the Brighton Domain Board on Saturday night. Accounts amounting to £55 12s Id were passed for payment. ~.,,,,• It was reported that the ladies' bathing shed had been doubled in size and should provide aufficient accommodation tor some time to come. All the buildings on the domain had been painted. Seaweed had been cleared from the bathing beach and the whole place wag in good order for the approaching holidays. The collection of parking charges had been quite satisfactory to date, and the annual parking ticket at a charge of 5s was in good demand by visiting motorists. A now tank had been provided on the Domain. If funds are available during the next few months a N.E. shelter will be built, so that visitors will have shelter from ram and wind from any quarter.
