ADVANCE IN WAGES
BRITISH MINERS’ DEMANDS PARTIES NEGOTIATING (British Official Wireless) RUGBY, November 28. Representatives of both the coalowners and minbrs met Captain Crookshank (Secretary, for Mines) yesterday and discussed the position arising out of the miners’ demands for a national advance in wages. A further meeting with the owners is taking place to-day. After hearing statements from both sides, Captain Crookshank will report to the Government before further meeting with the parties to the dispute
