MOTHER OF QUADRUPLETS FATHER A LITTLE STAGGERED LONDON, November 28. Weighing a total of 141 b, quadruplets—one girl and three boys—were born to, Mrs Miles (33), in a cottage at 13 Ferrars avenue, St. Neota (Huntingdonshire). She and the children are well and are expected to survive. The husband ! is 28, a lorry driver, and earns £3 a week. He “expected three, but was a little staggered by four.” Two and a-half hours separated the births. 1 When she revived, Mrs Miles said: “Do tell me how many there are. I won’t be ashamed, but will be frightfully proud! ” WEIGHTS OF THE BABIES LONDON, November 29. (Received Nov. 29, at 10 p,m.) The weights of the quadruplets are as follows:—The girl, 60J ounces; the boys 63, 55 and 45.
