CARS IN COLLISION

FOUR PERSONS INJURED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 27. As the result of a collision between two motor cars at Lower Hutt about 6 o’clock on Saturday night, four persons, including an 18 months’ old child, were admitted to the Wellington Hospital. The injured were:— Kenneth Carmichael,, freezing works hand, 189 Cuba street, Palmerston North, incised wounds to hands and legs, and shock. Mrs C. C. Carmichael, his wife, a fractured right leg, severe incised wound to right knee, and shock. Their 18 months’ old child, a fractured left leg. C. M. Tait, clerk, 154 Wellington terrace, severe incised wounds to face. The accident occurred at the corner of Waterloo road and High street, there being a considerable amount of traffic at the time. Mr Carmichael was driving the car in which were his wife and child. The other car was driven by Mr Robert Hunter Service, of Wellington, who was not injured. Mr Tait was a passenger in his car.
