COMPENSATION CLAIM
VERDICT FOR MAORI CHILDREN SUM OF £IOOO AWARDED (Per United Press Association) WELLINGTON, October 24. A verdict for £IOOO was awarded by the jury in the compensation case heard yesterday on behalf of the four Maori children of Loraine Enoka, who was fatally injured in a collision between a motor cycle he was riding and a car driven by Jean Catherine Dallas. The Chief Justice, Sir Michael Myers, ordered that the amount should be held in trust by the Public Trustee for the maintenance and education of the children.
