TRUSSES OBSOLETE The trusses referred to are those worn under the impression that they will cure a sufferer from Hernia. . . . This they cannot do, yet how much hard-earned cash has been wasted on them. They do not heat, they prevent healing, and in numerous cases instead of decreasing they increase the rupture. Does it not stand to reason that as there are not two cases of rupture alike it is impossible for anv truss made on a standard to give relief much less cure. The only scientific. method of curing rupture, as hundreds in New Zealand can testify, is that applied by Mr A. W. Martin, and which has been applied bj him over a period of 35 years in tbi» Dominion. Mr A. W.
