CRICKET
THE OTAGO COACH F. T. Badcock, the Otago Cricket Association's professional coach, has signed on again for next season with the Werneth Club in the _ Central Lancashire League, often refusing offers from other clubs. This advice is contained in a letter received by the president of the Otago Cricket Association (Mr J. M. Fraserl from the coach. Badcock had made over 500 runs by June 18, including two centuries, and had also taken 48 wickets. The weather had been very unfavourable, there being almost continuous rain. Badcock will sail for New Zealand by the Rangitiki on September 19.
