FEWER UNEMPLOYED
THE POSITION IN CANADA OTTAWA, June 26. The Dominion Bureau of Statistics reports that there were 22,000 fewer unemployed on June 1. DECREASE IN BRITAIN LONDON, June 27. (Received June 27, at 11 p.m.) The Daily Express says: Official figures which will be published shortly are expected to show that unemployment is below the 2,000.000 mark for the first time since July 21, 1930.
