SUICIDE PACT
SISTERS* TRAGIC DEATH GRIEF OVER DISASTER (United • Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) LONDON, February 23. (Received Feb. 24, at 5.5 p.m.) The Daily Mail says the post mortem on the Du Bois sisters disclosed that they were in perfect health. The contents of the letters they addressed to their parents revealed the existence of a carefully planned suicide pact. The News-Chronicle says: "The letters recounted their last tragic days, stressing their inconsolable grief at the Messina disaster." PITIFUL LETTERS LONDON, February 23. (Received Feb. 24, at 9.30 p.m.) The inquest on the du Bois girls will be held at Romford on Monday, when it is expected that the contents of the letters will be indicated. The Daily Express says the letters are intimate and pitiful, and not likely to be fullv revealed.
