INDUSTRY IN BRITAIN
INCREASED OUTPUT {British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, February 21. Industrial output in Britain in 1934 increased by 12 per cent, compared with 1933, and the increase is 18 per cent, greater than in 1932. The index number for manufacturing industries alone is the highest yet recorded, being about li per cent, higher than for 1928.
