IRISH SWEEPSTAKES
HUGE AMOUNT SUBSCRIBED LONDON, February 21. (Received Feb. 22, at 5.5 p.m.) In the House of Commons Sir John Gilmour. (Home Secretary) said it was estimated, including sellers’ commisskn, that £44,900,000 had been subscribed to 13 Irish Sweep's, of which approximately £7,603,000 had been allocated to hospitals.
