THE WILLIS CASE MR LANG'S APPEAL ALLOWED SYDNEY, November 28. (Received Nov. 28, at 10 p.m.) The High Court, by a majority, allowed the appeal of the ex-Premier, Mr J. T. Lang, from a majority judgment of the State Full Court, granting a new trial to Albeit Charles Willis in his action for £20,000 damages against Mr Lang for alleged slander contained in speeches during the Bulli by-election. The High Court restored the original verdict in favour of Mr Lang. Mr Willis was ordered to pay costs.
