NEW DRIVING TESTS

MOTORISTS IN ENGLAND (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, November 27. (Received Nov. 23, at 5.5 p.m.) The Minister for Transport (Mr Oliver Stanley) has decided to set up a special organisation to undertake tests for new drivers under the Road Traffic Act. In accordance with that Act i|ll whose first driving licenses bear a date subsequent to April 1, 1934, will be subject to such tests and future licenses will he granted only after the tests hav-j been passed.
