SUNDAY SERVICES
The Rev. D. C. Herron will conduct both services in Knox Church. The subject for the evening will be “ The Imprisoned Splendour.” At First Church to-morrow the preacher at both services will be the Rev. Allen Stevely. The morning subject will be “ Christ, The Guarantee,” and the evening “ Ezekiel’s Aeroplane.” In the evening there Will be a Masonic service, to which all Masonic brethren are invited. Miss Estelle Burna’rd will sing “ 0 Divine Redeemer,” and Dr Galway will be at the organ. The Rev. C. H. Olds will conduct both services at Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street, to-morrow. In the morning his subject will be “ Life’s Lantern ” and in the evening “ Idiotic Christians.” At the United Congregational Church the Rev. C. G. Hedley Bycroft will conduct the services. In the morning he will speak on “A Comely Disposition,”\ and in the evening on “The Greatest Refuge in the Universe.” The Spiritualist Church will meet in the Radiant Ha-11, St. Andrew street, to-morrow. The healing centre will hold its session this evening. * At the Hanover Street Baptist Church the Rev.' E. S. Tuckwell will conduct both services, the evening subject being “ The Malady of Defective Vision.” The anthem will be “Seek Ye the Lord,” and the soloist Mr- Harry Drew. A communion service will follow. At the Moray Place Congregational Church the Rev. Albert Mead in the morning will speak on the “ Dignity of Labour,” and at the evening service the address will be on “The. Wondrous Cross.” The choir will render the anthem “God So Loved the World,” and Mr Alfred Walmsley will sing Hope’s “When I Survey.” At the Gospel Marquee, King Edward street, South Dunedin, Evangelist W. J. Richards will speak on the subject, “The Handwriting on the Wall: Prophecy Reveals the Hour of God’s Judgment Session.” At the Theosophical Society there will be an address on “Theosophy, the Basis of Economic Welfare,” by Mr J. M. M'Ewan. Services will be held at 11 a.m. and 6.30 p.m. at the Methodist Central Mission to-morrow. The Rev. L. B. Neale will be the preacher. In the evening he will preach a sermon for Labour Day, and the soloist will be Mrs A. L. Scott.
