DESIRE TO RACE AT ELLERSLIE. (Peb United Press Association. j AUCKLAND, July 31. Further overtures by the Takapuna Jockey Cfub to hold its future meetings at Ellerslie were considered by the committee of the Auckland Racing Club at a special meeting, and the matter will be- the subject of further negotiations. It is understood that the Takapuna Club will apply for permission to race at Ellerslie until its liabilities are liquidated, its permits for four days racing a. jmar to lie taken over by the Auckland Racing Club at the end of that time. Similar arrangements were made a year or-two ago by the To Kuiti Racing Club, under which it holds its meeting at l.e Kapa until its debts arc extinguished, and it will then be absorbed by the Waikato Racing Club. '
