STOLEN IN TRANSIT SENSATION IN CHINA. SHANGHAI, May 8. (Received May 9, at 0.15 a.m.) Startling disclosures are expected as the result of Government investigations into charges that .millions, of dollars' worth of rare treasures, recently transported from Peking for safekeeping to Shanghai; following the Japanese invasion threat last year, have been secretly sold. The relics and treasures came from Peking museum palaces in special trains.
