MENACE TO THE SAAR
GERMAN COUP DE MAIN PERSISTENT RUMOURS. GENEVA, May 8. (Received May 9, at 0.30 a.m.) Mr G. G. Knox, president of the Saar Commission, in "A report to the League Council, epeaks openly of the menace of a German coup de main, rumours of which are reaching him frequently from most varied sources. There is reason to fear that some of the rumours may not be figments of the imagination.
