RACEHORSE AT CONVENT

'CUP WINNER CHEERED Australia Fair, winner of the Wagga Cup at Wagga, New South Wales, was taken to the Convent of the Sacred Heart on the following day and* admired hy the sisters and the boarders. Mr Frank M'Grath, the owner of Australia Fair, has visited the convent several times, as a friend of his has a sister there. When he telephoned the day after the race to arrange a visit he was congratulated upon the victory of Australia Fair in the cup, and was told how those at the convent would delight to see the trophy. . When Mr and Mrs F. M'Grath arrived at the convent with the cup and blue ribbon they found that Mr M. M'Grath had preceded them with Australia Fair. The sisters and the girl boarders of the convent school were delighted. They crowded round the horse and patted and stroked him. They admired the cup and gave Australia Fair a rousing cheer.
