WITHOUT A CABINET
THE POSITION IN SPAIN SWING TO RIGHT PROBABLE. LONDON, September 12. (Received Sept. 12, at 11 p.m.) The Daily Telegraph’s Madrid correspondent says: “ Spain is still without a successor to Senor Azana, but another patchwork Government is probable in order to save the republic from a general election, though M. Lcrroux, the Radical leader, is convinced that the Cortes has long outlived its mandate. Already six different Cabinets Lave been suggested, but withdraw for various reasons. The revolutionary leaders fear a big swing in the direction of the Right, which is manifesting itself in several directions.”
