COMMISSION HANDED IN GOVERNMENT CRITICISED. (British Official Wireles3.) RUGBY, September 6. (Received Sept. 7, at 5.5 p.m.) The Government has been notified that Commandajlt Cronin is withdrawing his army reserve commission on the grounds that he intends to continue his membership of the National Guard. Commandant Cronin issued a statement criticising the Government's move as " contemptible and as was to be expected from an administration whose inferiority complex prompts every sort of petty meanness against a man they failed to beat with arms in civil war."
