WINDJAMMERS’ RACE
AUSTRALIA TO ENGLAND LAST VESSEL ARRIVES. LONDON, September 5. The Winterhude, the last grain-carry-ing windjammer of the season, arrived at Queenstown after a passage of 144 days. The captain said that 1 during a three days’ hurricane off Cape Horn the saloon was flooded, and minor deck damage was done, after which calms and head winds caused delay.
