OTAGO CHESS TOURNAMENT

WEST VERSUS NORTH. The fourth game in the second round of the Otago Chess tournament was played in the Otago Chess Club rooms last evening. The attendance of the players was not up to the usual number, only eight boards a-side competing. However, gome very good games eventuated, the most interesting being that between Messrs G. D. Wright and H. S. Tily. which, after about two hours and a-half of play resulted in a draw. The competing teams were Dunedin North and Vest.
