FRANCE’S OBLIGATIONS
REPAYING BRITISH BANKS
HALF THE TOTAL AMOUNT.
PARIS, August 1,
France is repaying half of the British banks’ £15,000,000 loan. The balance is being paid on November 1. As the Budget shows a deficit of at least £56,000,000, the Journal Des Debats asks whether France will have to reborrow the payment.
