BELLEKNOWES CLUB. The final match for the Ladies’ Senior Championship was played on the Belleknowes golf course on Saturday last, the finalists being Miss M. M‘Leod and Miss Wilkinson. The winner was Miss M'Leod, who played steady golf all through. In conjunction with this, two other matches were also played, an L.G.U. medal and sealed hole, the winners being, in the former, Miss Parker first with C 6, Mrs Kay second with 68, and Miss Orr 70. In the sealed hole Miss Parker was first and Miss Orr second. . MAORI CHAMPIONSHIPS. (Per United Press Association.) WAIROA, August 2. The New Zealand Maori golf championships were commenced to-day on the Wairoa golf links, which were in perfect condition. The weather was fine, and Maoris were present from all parts of the Dominion, about 80 players taking part in the qualifying rounds, which occupied all day. The tournament will be continued to-morrow, and the finals will be played on Friday,
