The Minister of Public Works (Mr J. Bitchener) arrived at Westport-to-night, arid met deputations in the Town Hall. The subjects dealt with included unemployment prospecting, married men’s camps, the classification of roads, the Buller Gorge railway, the Lewis Pass road, and also various Karamea matters.
