RIFLE SHOOTING . The following were the. best scores ; -ftt’ the weekly shoot of the Kurqw Miniature Rifle Club on Tuesday evening:— i
In the shoot-6ff the weekly button was; retained by W. B. Appleby, ’jun. The weekly team shoot championship was retained by W. B. Appleby, T. Sanders, 11. Greer, and F. Todd. This club had been inactive for the past five years, but was recently reorganised, and although most of its ' members are new to miniature rifle shopting great keenness is being displayed. The club has' a membership of 32, there being an average attendance of 25 at each snoot. In the four-man team shoot the holders have not been beaten, but the younger members are improving with every shoot,; and next week may see an alteration in the placing of the teams.
