ILLICIT CUTTING OF WOOD SEVERAL PEOPLE KILLED. > \. WARSAW, June 21. Nine civilians and one policeman were killed and six policemen wounded in riots in the Bzeszow and Bopcyzce districts. The police surprised illicit woodcutters, who attacked them with axes, killing one and wounding six. The police opened fire and killed three, and arrested several of their assailants. The crowd attempted to rescue them on their arrival at the nearest town, resulting in further casualties.
