ANGLO-IRISH DISPUTE
SETTLEMENT URGED STATEMENT BY MR THOMAS. LONDON, June 21. In the House of Commons Mr Grenfell urged the Secretary of State for the Dominions (Mr J. H. Thomas) to make a further attempt at a settlement of the Irish dispute in the interests of the coal trade. Mr Thomas reiterated that ho was ready to negotiate if the conditions were such as to make the attempt worth while.
