A VINCENT MAIN HIGHWAY
ro THE EDITOR. Sib, —I should like to ask the Vincent County Council if it has leased the main highway, via Tarrqs, to any of the settlers who have holdings in that locality. If so, when does the present term of lease expire, and have the present lessees first right of renewal? The cattle and sheep which are grazing there permanently and are a danger to the travelling public are in the pink of condition. If it is not considered ivorth while to collect impounding fees, perhaps this may be a profitable area for an unemployment small farm scheme. —I am, etc., Waiting Lease 11.
