THE WAITAKI ELECTRIC POWER BOARD

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —At the last meeting of the Waitaki Electric Power Board ‘a committee whs set up to investigate the administration and staff of the board. I understand that the committee duly met and called no evidence from the chief officer of the board, but consulted a subordinate member of the staff. The public is anxious to see that justice is done to the principal officer and other officers of the board who have served the interests of the board and the community so successfully. If the committee decides to make alterations to the administration and the staff it will be_ in the interests of the public and justice that the decisions of the committee be submitted to an independent expert authority.—l am, etc., Ratepayer.
