WATER DIVINING

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, —As there has been quite _ a loi lately in your paper on the subject, I should like to say a word in favour of water divining. There are a number of farmers to-day who are very grateful to the diviner for telling them where water was to be found, and in some cases farms are now supplied for household uses and the watering of stock purely on account of the diviper. In this district there are various wells drawing pure water, and on my own farm I have a well that was divined. This diviner can trace unerringly a subterranean river, and when blindfolded can also follow it. I feel that the water diviner whom I have met deserves credit for the benefits derived from his genuine water divining.—l am, etc., Beaumont, June 20. Fair Plat.
