Burnside, June 21. Fat Cattle.—There was a moderate yarding of 196 head, comprised principally of medium sorts, with a rather larger proportion of cows and heifers than usual. There were a few pennings of prune bullocks and heifers, which were in most , demand, selling at an appreciation ot 10s to 15s on the' average compared with last sale’s rates. Other descriptions showed no change. The bulk of the entry consisted mainly of medium and prime ewes, with an odd truck or two of prime wethers and ji fair sprinkling of fine woolled sheep. The sale opened quietly, showing a drop generally of Is on the average for both ewes and wethers, the former showing a further decline of Is Od towards the close. Wethers could be quoted par to Is easier, and ewes 2s easier in comparison with last sale.
