THE DOMINION FERTILISER COMPANY
TO THE EDITOR
Sir, —I seem to be the only one interested in the Dominion Fertiliser Company, but when a director makes a statement that the company is in a happy position, I am sure the majority of the farmers have not made a profit, and have nothing to carry forward for the year. I suppose it is the Mortgagors Relief Act that has made money so hard to find for the farmer. I am valued at about £9 an acre for rating purposes, and have tried to borrow a tliird (£3 per acre), but have not succeeded, and the money received from the sale of my shares' in the Fertiliser Company equalled 12s. in the £.—l am, etc.. Farmer.
