MARY PRATT CONCERT
The Mary Pratt concert will be given in the Town Hall on Wednesday. It seems safe to assert that never has the Dunedin public shown such interest or enthusiasm in respect of a function of this kind. Since it was first known that Miss Pratt intended to leave for Europe and it was decided to give Dunedin music-lovers an opportunity to honour this popular contralto by the presentation of a complimentary eoncert interest has never flagged. The bookings since the plan opened last Friday have been nothing short of phenomenal, and it seems certain that the Town Hall will be filled to overflowing on Wednesday. Applications for seats are being received from all over Otago, showing the reputation this young singer has earned in the comparatively short period during which she has been singing publicly.
