AERODROME SOLD
SITE FOR HOUSING SCHEME . DEAL WITH DB HAVILANDS. LONDON, June 16. (Receive June 16, at 5.5 p.m.) The News-Chronicle says that de Havilands have sold the Stag lane aerodrome, which is 100 acres in area, for £IOO,OOO for the site of 1200 houses, the construction of which will employ 2000 men for 13 months. De Havilands will retain the Stag Lane factory, but will transfer flying to Hatfield.
